Organisational Due Diligence for Investors
An independent read on how a company actually runs before you invest. Founder dynamics, decision rights, accountability, hiring logic, operating model and delivery risk.
We look at the things that are hard to judge from the outside: how founders work together, where decisions actually get made, whether the organisation can carry the ambition, and where risk may be building before it becomes visible.
Organisational due diligence
We do that part. We talk to founders and teams, read how decisions travel through the company, and report back plainly: what works, what depends on one person, and what will break first under the next stage of growth.
Advisory focus
An independent read on how a company actually runs before you invest. Founder dynamics, decision rights, accountability, hiring logic, operating model and delivery risk.
Close work with leaders in the messy stretch: priorities, roles, internal clarity, board and investor conversations, and the systems needed to move from ambition to delivery.
Whether the impact claims hold up under investor scrutiny: the thesis, the link to the business model, the metrics behind the language, and the risks that get glossed over.
Who we work with
Noble North works with people building or backing companies where resilience, growth and impact need to make sense together. For investors, that often means handing the organisational side of diligence to us instead of stretching the team.
What we look for
Who has to be in the room for a decision. What stops if one person leaves. Which promises rest on a plan nobody owns.
These are cheap to fix early and expensive to find late. We find them early.
Who we are
Noble North is an independent advisory practice focused on organisational due diligence, founder and leadership questions, and impact logic. We stay deliberately small: the people you meet in the first conversation are the people who do the work.

How work can start
One conversation on a specific issue: founder or team dynamics, governance, an investment decision, or something in the organisation that does not quite add up.
One to two weeks on a defined question: organisational readiness, decision-making, team structure, investor preparation, or impact logic where relevant.
A full independent assessment of the people, decisions, governance, operating model and delivery risk, with clear findings for your investment committee or board, practical next steps and a clear view of what needs to change.
If you are weighing an investment, trying to understand the founders better, or looking at a portfolio company that is not moving as expected, we can take on the organisational side of the work. We spend time with the founders and relevant team members to see where decisions sit, where too much depends on one person, and where the organisation is likely to come under pressure next. You leave with a clear view of what looks solid, where the real risks are, and what still needs a closer look.
